Kaylie turns 13!

Where has the time gone!? It seems like just yesterday when she born. Kaylie asked me why adults always say that as their children celebrate these milestone birthdays and I know she won't understand until she is a parent herself and watches her children grow up. But it is so true. As young kids, time seems to be forever, though as we get older and older, time seems to just blink by. I want to hold on to these times and memories for as long as possible. (I try and explain that to my kids when they get tired of all the picture taking I do!) For Kaylie's birthday, we went clothes shopping and got her hair done at Tisa's. She suprised both of us, and asked Tisa to give her a totally different hair cut. I said whatever she wants and when she said lets go short, my head whipped up. Tisa was watching for my reaction and when I realized how shocked I was over that decision we all had a good laugh. Kaylie got an A-line style haircut, plus pink and blonde highlights in her hair. It looks great on her and really fits her personality! Happy 13th birthday Honey!
