I finally have use of my fingers a tiny bit and can sort of type after my lovely slip and fall and broke my wrist accident at work several weeks ago. I was telling my brother how wonderfully smooth and stress free everything was going at school and wouldn't you know the next day I slip and fall. I broke the radius bone on my left hand ( and yes, I'm left-handed...) which broke and moved 5 degrees from where it connects to my hand. It then turned and somehow twisted 65 degrees (this is how the doctor put it anyway) inside. It was ugly and extremely painful. Luckily no surgery. The surgeon was able to put my wrist back in place manually. I'm looking at 6 weeks of learning how to do lots of things one-handed and who knows how long of physical therapy over the summer. We haven't even gotten to that point of discussion yet. My family has been trying to help and I'm trying to be more patient and as is my nature - positive. (I only allowed myself 2 days of self-pity - I don't like the victim mentality in others, and I certainly don't like it in myself). Anyway, here's the pictures. (3rd pic is right before they put a hard cast on - my wrist looks a bit straighter than in the 2nd picture!)

The first picture looks like something strait out of the Harry Potter movies! Sheesh! Glad you can type again! Holler if you need anything! Cause that's not being a victim!
