Mom and Dad were here for a visit, which we always enjoy. Our kids especially love hanging out with Grandma and Grandpa. Mom has been working on getting old photos in photo albums and she brought one that had pictures of my parents on their wedding day, pictures of my brother, sister and I as children, and even a few in our early twenties - before we all had kids. We all enjoyed looking at those pictures, though there were a couple of photos of me wearing some clothes that I couldn't believe my mom would let me walk out of the house wearing! (think bell-bottom plaid pants....uuggghhhh). Mike, Dad and my brother took all the older kids golfing and after taking a few pics, mom and I went back home. Mom played songs on Kaylie's keyboard while I savored the music. My mom is losing her eyesight which makes watching and listening to her play is even more special. We celebrated our May birthdays that night and then played kickball at the school. The night before they left we had dinner at my brothers and Dad, still a kid at heart, started jumping on the trampoline. Not to be outdone, Mom got on as well. We had a great time, and I'm glad to have pictures and the memories of being with family.
